Vaujany is the ideal resort for a family ski holiday offering a range of skiing to suit all. Vaujany's 160 capacity cable car departs from the village and quickly takes you into the Alpe d'Huez Grand Domain ski area with minimum queuing even at high season.

Vaujany/Oz and L'Alpe d'Huez Ski Domain

The Alpe d'Huez Grand Domaine Ski massif covers eight villages with 240kms of marked slopes over 800 hectares of ski area. It is equipped with one of the largest snow production plants serving 923 snow cannons to ensure snow cover through out the season.

For beginners and experienced skiers alike the 240 kilometers are perfect for leisure and high performance skiing.

The magnificent 20km Sarenne Run and the Chateau Noir from the summit of Pic Blanc (3330m) are a must for the expert skier offering a challenging and remote unspoilt experience with views to match.

Vaujany/Oz has 70km of pistes with:
- 12 green
- 13 blue
- 12 red
- 3 black

Both areas are well served with mountain restaurants.

Montfrais

Within the Vaujany/Oz domain and accessed by the Montfrais telecabine from Vaujany, Montfrais provides gentler slopes for beginners and improvers. The Montfrais area is also home to the Children's Garden. Parents collect their children from French ski School (ESF) here and The Club Piou-Piou welcomes children from 3 years.

Several different options for young skiers are available. Also at Montfrais the snowpark is ideal for beginners learning how to jump and the adventurous to practise their new jumps and tricks.

A Cross Country Route provides 20km of skiing on the Circuit des Lacs. There is also a prepared walking/racquetting track along side. Both begin at Alpette accessed by telepherique from Vaujany. The Boucle de Poutran a 10km walking track can be reached via the Poutran lift in Oz.
